A 75055-sized First Order Star Destroyer wouldвЂ™ve been a lot cooler, thoughвЂ¦ And LEGO delivers again! 75190, the most recent LEGO Star Destroyer, depicts the First Order Resurgent-class Battlecruiser at the same size of 75055. This was a polybag in 2016 of the First Order Star Destroyer, and itвЂ™s not bad. The release of The Force Awakens in December 2015 made many wish for a Finalizer set. This is rather inaccurate but given the piece limitations itвЂ™s an okay effort. In 2015, there was a magazine gift consisting of a tiny Star Destroyer and an even tinier TIE Fighter. The price of $129.99 USD is slightly high but other than that this is a good set. The exterior is impressively accurate and I really like the synchronized cannons, while the interior is not bad either (though could be better). Next is one of my favorite LEGO Star Destroyers, 75055. This actually looks pretty cool and is one of my favorite microfighters. 2014 saw the release of two Star Destroyers, and the first one here is the Microfighter version. This is more accurate than the previous Star Destroyer polybag, but is smaller (which actually is true of a lot of modern Star Wars sets). Here we have a 2012 polybag, 30056 Star Destroyer. However, I find the greebling rather repetitive and thus, not very exciting, and in that aspect I feel that the 2002 UCS Star Destroyer is more impressive. It stretches over a metre long and is very impressive. Next up is the gargantuan 10221 UCS Super Star Destroyer, retailing with a price tag of $399.99 USD. For $39.99 USD this is quite a cool model and pretty detailed for its size. Only two midi-scale sets were ever released but I actually quite like them. Next up on the list is 8099 Midi-scale Star Destroyer. HOWEVER, it does come with alternate builds, including a Skyhopper as well as this ship (canвЂ™t remember the name). This was pretty good for its time but I personally think it looks rather ugly. It had a full-fledged interior with VaderвЂ™s meditation chamber, an escape pod, and a bridge with space for minifigures. It retailed for $99.99 in the U.S., and came with figures like Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, and stormtroopers. The next Star Destroyer, 6211, was a playset-sized one. ItвЂ™s not very accurate but quite a good effort for its time.

4492 Star Destroyer was a blister pack model that retailed for $7.00 in the U.S. The second Star Destroyer in LEGO was one of the smallest ones. Nevertheless, this looks very impressive. It does, however, use many outdated techniques like magnets, resulting in the front of the ship warping slightly, I believe. The 10030 UCS Star Destroyer, released in 2002 with a retail price of $269.99 in the U.S., is one of my favorite UCS sets.
